Europe's largest mussel auction is located on the coast of the Netherlands, in picturesque Yerseke. This region is known for its fertile waters and ideal climate for mussel farming. This auction has a rich history, dating back to the beginning of the mussel industry in this region, which began around the 16th century. The auction has since become an international marketplace for mussels. This auction is a tourist attraction. You can visit the auction and witness the trading process. Events related to this culture are also held here frequently. 

The Princess Beatrixhaven is Yerseke's marina. This marina offers berths for around 100 yachts. The approximately 140 meters of mooring facilities along jetties are used to accommodate passersby. Here you will also find the clubhouse of Watersports Association Yerseke, where you are welcome for a drink.
